After having to stage scaled-down versions for the past two years during the pandemic, the Bafta awards were back with a vengeance last week, mixing Hollywood glamour with British hospitality and talent in the heart of London. There were fabulous gowns, risqué jokes and historic wins at the Royal Albert Hall ceremony, where stars including Salma Hayek, Sir Kenneth Branagh, Naomi Campbell and Benedict Cumberbatch walked the red carpet.
