It's always exciting when the first new TVs of the year start to arrive – finally – a good few months after their January launches. And Samsung isn't messing about in 2020, kicking off with its Q950TS 8K superscreen. Now, if I had a pound for every time the phrase 'lack of native 8K content' pops up during an 8K TV discussion, I'd probably be able to afford to buy one. But as we report on p24, the 33-megapixel revolution isn't actually all about resolution. Meanwhile Samsung's 75in range-topper (p38) makes a convincing case for upgrading regardless of the availability of pixel-matched content.
