JANE TAYLOR | Architectural designer As a child, Jane’s favourite pastimes were painting and visiting National Trust houses. She went on to study at the Architectural Association and, following her graduation in 1993, was commissioned by friends to design their kitchen. Since then, Jane has created kitchens both independently and with interior designers such as Flora Soames, David Mlinaric and Emily Todhunter, with whom she collaborated on Madresfield Court in Worcestershire. Jane shares tips about kitchen planning in this month’s ‘On Decorating’ column (on page 62).
