Last month, we were able to present the House & Garden Awards in person, watched by a roomful of wonderful people who are connected to our world. It felt momentous for many reasons. To physically be in the ballroom at The Dorchester with so many people, most of whom I had not seen for a very long time, and to be able to hand out the awards to the winners to huge applause and respect from their industry peers – rather than opening a package at home, as was the case last year – allowed the winners to receive the recognition they deserve.
