We all have a dream home in our heads, don’t we? Every year, around this time, I optimistically set out to bring the decorating ideas that have been percolating in my mind to life in my house. There’s something about these slightly longer days that brings a brighter mood, and the feeling that change is good. In reality, it’s budget – or lack of it – that ultimately determines what’s achieved but, this spring, I’ve decided that if I only do one thing, it should be to embrace the growing trend for colour in the home.
