After months of living by the mantra ‘appreciate the small stuff’, I’m savouring all those signs of spring that lift the spirits and turn our thoughts to giving our homes a refresh. It’s such a joy to fling open the doors and windows – and while those welcome bursts of early spring sunshine might highlight the dusty corners and tired paintwork, there’s a sense of renewed energy and optimism in the air that has me reaching for my colour charts and fabric samples.
