Shonette Bason Wood is a stand-up comedian and founder of educational training company, Spread the Happiness. “Meeting as many people as I can, whether that be in schools, businesses or every day, and helping them positively change their way of thinking, is a huge passion of mine,” she says. Shonette started out as a primary school teacher, soon realising she wanted to bring joy and positive vibes to classrooms all over the country. She founded Spread the Happiness, touring schools in highly deprived areas to aid teachers in neurological-based ways of teaching for pupils at a disadvantage.
