First with the week’s HOTTEST headlines Charity and Mack’s wedding day takes a crazier twist than most soap nuptials this week, as the bride and groom-to-be find themselves banged up rather than coupled up! Add to that some 80s fancy dress and an iconic mode of transport, and it’s a roller coaster ride towards the altar. But the hijinks are about to come to a crashing halt after Mack discovers that Chloe has gone into labour with his baby, just as he’s about to tie the knot – and Charity finds herself left standing alone at the altar… “Charity is more sure than ever about her life with Mackenzie and moving forward with him,” says Emma Atkins, who plays her. “But inside Mack’s head he knows he’s marrying someone while carrying this big…

Viewers have been waiting months for Mack and Chloe’s big secret to be exposed, and the stars of the storyline reckon all hell will break loose when it does. “Charity will be devastated,” admits Emma. “It would crack everything open in her old wounds, and she really could go off the rails because she is so invested in her relationship with Mack.” And it won’t just be Charity who’ll be destroyed… “Mack is terrified by the situation,” says Lawrence Robb, who plays him. “If Mackenzie could have it both ways, he’d probably want to be with Charity and have the kid there too; however, that would depend on whether Charity’s willing to forgive him or not.” Meanwhile, we’ve seen Charity’s granddaughter Sarah choose to keep the secret from her – how will their relationship…

Scarred in more ways than one by Justin’s acid attack, Ryan’s troubles get on top of him this week and he flees the hospital – leading to a desperate search for him. Can friends and family find Ryan before he quits Weatherfield, or will he crumble under the weight of his woes? “I don’t think Ryan knows where he is running to,” says Ryan Prescott, who plays the devastated DJ. “He doesn’t really have a plan, he’s just in panic mode at this point. He’s going through an overwhelming emotional drop and he wants to get as far away from everything as possible. He’s in such a state.” The week starts badly when Daisy goes to hospital, and has to break the news to Ryan and Alya that Justin pleaded not guilty…

“I hoped people would be affected by this storyline as these attacks happen all the time,” says Ryan, who joined Corrie in 2018 as Michelle’s son. “The more successful the storyline is, the more people it reaches. It’s been massively positive, and I’ve been blown away by the reaction, to be honest. “We have had so much love,” he adds. “People have been really kind, especially about the acting and the quality of the story. Having this kind of feedback at this point is overwhelming, and I’m really, really happy.”…
