Strip piecing is one of our favourite methods for creating identical units quickly and accurately. Our handy 45-degree Diamond Ruler will help make sure your strips are all cut at the perfect angle! Cut strips which slant to either the left or the right and mix and match to make lots of designs. Use strips that have all been cut in one direction for Lone Stars and 45-degree Diamonds. Mix right and left slanting strips for chevron and zig-zag designs. 1 First, piece together strips of your desired width to make a strip-pieced unit.
