Hey Renee and Elisha, this is your first-ever photo shoot for us. Why did you decide to do MAXIM? ELISHA: We have been talking with MAXIM for over a year now and have been building the excitement up! RENEE: When MAXIM sent us the mood board for the shoot it got us so excited because of how much it suited us. We absolutely love MAXIM and we are in our bikinis 24/7, so it definitely fits our vibe. Well, you both look stunning. When do you feel your sexiest? E: It’s hard to think of yourself as sexy most of the time but I think when you really let go of all the self-consciousness and feel more confident in yourself it just flows and you build it…

brute of a bull

Nobody could ever accuse the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ of being boring — but believe it or not, someone decided to take that killer styling and breathtaking V12 package, and turn it up 1000%.Based on the Aventador SJV, the SC18 Alston comes with NASA-approved aerodynamics and despite being track-ready, it’s still road-legal — bringing two worlds together Raging Bull style. Designed with assistance from the Centro Stile Lamborghini Customisation centre, the highlight reel starts with its extreme aerodynamics. Try ‘borrowed’ intakes from the Huracan GT3 EVO, a blade-like nose, and an enormous carbon fibre wing on for size. Inside, there is Nero Ade Alcantara upholstery with Rosso Alala cross-stitching, but the real star here is the onboard telemetry system which help the driver/pilot chase down their lap times.Without being pinned…

How would you best describe the 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT? Well, imagine the lovechild of a well-disciplined Porsche 911 and a brutal American Nascar and you’re on the money.A vehicle with many enemies, it is a direct rival to the 911, the supercharged Jaguar F-TYPE SVR, and the identically-powered Aston Martin Vantage. Perhaps they’re envious of the AMG’s striking looks and ballistic speed… and its expensive price tag.We say money schmoney though; if you love the GT’s classic proportions, or love a day at the track, or love a good Cannonball Run-style trip — it’s well worth it.All that change gets you the unshakable partnership between the effortless acceleration of AMG’s high-revving, dry-sump mill, and the intelligent 7-speed speed-shift transaxle that guarantees a 3.7 second dash to 100km/h and a…

custom cafe

Ah, the SR400 — what a great bike it was. Seriously good times. However, the end is nigh for Yamaha's little single-slugger. Emissions regulations will well and truly put the 400cc standard out of commission; but before the fan gets a soiling, Portuguese bike builders Nuno Capelo and Ricardo Santos took to the bike to the custom shop for one last mod.The boys came up with a modern cafe-styled SR400 reminiscent of some of the great Yamahas of the past. In a rare move, Yamaha Portugal loved their design so much, that they decided to back them. With Yamaha’s blessing (and cash), on went the USD forks from a Yamaha YZF-R1, together with new K-Tech internals to make the bike corner happy. Out back, they added a pair of Showa…
