When #MakingMEGA started seven years ago in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Machu Pichu, Peru, its purpose was to give our readers a glimpse of how to create a magazine. It aimed to document the challenges and successes of the editorial team and how far they would go to capture the perfect image and produce content for the issue. It also aimed to humanize a cover star and show another side of her—one that is unguarded and raw.
