Greener holiday homes! Green initiatives and sustainability are buzz words right now - and with good reason. Now, Britain's largest manufacturer of holiday homes, Willerby, is embracing the green revolution with an initiative designed to cut the cost of heating a holiday home by as much as £249. Willerby's new build standard upgrades insulation in the walls, floors and roofs. In this third article about park home surveys, having previously considered surveying the interior and exterior of a park home or lodge, Nick Norrie, of Subject II Survey Chartered Surveyors, explains what is on the company's checklist to inspect underneath a park home during a pre-purchase survey. The Great Holiday Home Show is to be held in September at the Great Yorkshire Showground. The event, formerly known as The Lawns Show, was held close to Hull from 1976 until Covid intervened. Now, the show, with a new name and new venue, is set to be a larger event than its predecessor, on the 25-acre Great Yorkshire Showground, at Harrogate. It will be held from Friday 8 September to Sunday 10 September for the public, followed by a tradeonly show from 12 September to 14 September.
