I missed CES. For the first time in 15 years, I couldn’t attend, thanks to a thin red line that appeared on my Covid test strip the day before I was due to fly out. I felt fine, but after a quick consultation with the show organisers it was agreed that I shouldn’t put other showgoers (or fellow passengers) at risk. What followed was one of the most annoying weeks of my life.
