‘I still always remind him of when he broke up with me.’ —KRISTENBELL, on the time husband Dax Shepard broke up with the actress for four days, to Popsugar ‘I told her, “I don’t think I ever want to get married.” She basically broke down crying. I had to propose to her sooner rather than later.’ —CHANNINGTATUM, on attempting to throw off now-wife Jenna Dewan Tatum before proposing, to BBC Radio 1 ‘I am not perfect. I never have been and never will be. No one deserves this kind of intrusion.’ —KATHARINE McPHEE, responding to her nude photo leak, in a statement to People ‘This year I’ve decided my weight will not be my focus. That one day— or any day—on the red carpet isn’t nearly as important as making sure my daughter doesn’t measure her worth by her dress size.’ —PADMA…

How fun has it been to play both Frank and “Black Jack” Randall? It’s been a joy. Weaving bits of one into the other and playing them off each other has been great fun. What was the biggest challenge switching between the two roles? Maybe one of the days I was playing both parts was a bit much. But I’m proud of what we’ve done with Jack. There is horror in him—but also sadness. Hopefully that makes it less easy for people to dismiss him. And for Frank? There’s a lot to like. He’s loyal, smart, and he has real endurance and a capacity to love. He’s inherently a good, decent human being. How do you spend a day off from work? Ideally it will involve a tennis lesson. And then maybe polish it off with some wine…

she’s back— with a vengeance!

ALL THE NEWS & BUZZ FROM HOLLYWOOD “Taylor is very excited about her new album. It has been her life for the past few months,” says a source of Reputation (out Nov. 10). THERE’S A NEW Taylor in town, and she’s not here to make friends. After purposely spending the past six months out of the public eye, Swift returned on Aug. 25 with a record-breaking song, “Look What You Made Me Do.” Her first solo single in three years, the scathing pop track and its accompanying music video satirize Swift’s embattled public image and hit back at her foes, most notably Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West. After a chaotic 2016 that included a bitter Internet brawl with the power couple, a messy breakup from Calvin Harris and a very public fling with…

her new video’s hidden meanings

NILS SJOBERG Swift inscribed the pen name she used for “This Is What You Came For,” the song she cowrote with ex Calvin Harris, on a gravestone. I♥TS The all-male backup dancers wear shirts bearing the words “I ♥ TS,” the message Tom Hiddleston was mocked mercilessly for wearing at her Fourth of July bash in 2016. STREAMING SLAMS Swift was accused of being money-hungry after she pulled her music off streaming services. In the video she robs a “Stream Co.” vault and her nails are painted Spotify green. R.I.P. ‘OLDTAYLOR’ Swift dug into her tour and red-carpet archives to re-create all the “old” Taylors in the video, which racked up 39 million views in 24 hours. FAUX SURPRISE Swift pokes fun at how fans mocked her signature “surprised face” at awards shows.…
