molly shannon

What’s the best part of your character Diane? She’s so much fun. She’s unfiltered, she’s a loudmouth, she’s boundary-less. But I think people also really relate to her and to her marital struggles. Do people tend to talk to you about their divorces a lot now? Yes! And it’s interesting to see how they compare to the show. But divorce happens: Fifty-five percent of marriages don’t work out. What do you like to do in your downtime? Just be a mom to my kids [Stella, 14, and Nolan, 12]— drive them to school, hang at home. I love my time with my kids. It’s so precious. helping families keep their homes

Last year People and the research firm Great Place to Work teamed up to create our first annual Companies That Care list (People, April 10, 2017), celebrating companies that do well and do good by showing respect and compassion for their employees, communities and the world. This past fall Quicken Loans continued its best efforts, contributing $500,000 to Detroit’s “Neighbor to Neighbor” program, which helps at-risk homeowners and renters save their houses from tax foreclosure. Since October, volunteers from 30 community organizations have gone door-to-door, notifying some 35,000 residents of their options. “The most beneficial component is keeping people in their homes,” says Laura Grannemann, vice president of Quicken Loans’ Community Investment Fund. “We believe in giving back to the cities where we live, work and play.” NOMINATE YOUR COMPANY!
