★ star letter ★

In March last year, like many others, I started suffering with anxiety for the first time in my life. I constantly felt scared and I stopped leaving the house. I tried everything – medication, herbal remedies, homeopathy, cognitive behavioural therapy. Around August, after hardly leaving the house for months, we visited my mother’s caravan in Harlech. CAMPOUTS CONNECT FAMILIES TO FARMING FARMER AND TV presenter Adam Henson is supporting the Happerley Family Food Festivals, sustainable campout weeks designed to connect families to farming, wellbeing and the local environment. There will be plenty of time to explore the countryside, and engage with wildlife and the environment. Festivalgoers will be asked to bring their own plates, cutlery and refillable mugs, and to support the event’s waste and recycling initiatives. You can choose from three…

CARRI CHEF 50 BBQ/CHEF PAN COMBO Reviewed by Sarah Wakely We’ve been stuck indoors for so long over the past 12 months that we’re all keen to get out and about in the fresh air – and one great way to do so is by having a barbecue. There’s something fantastic about sitting outside your caravan with your dinner gently cooking on a barbecue beside you, before you enjoy your food al fresco. One of the benefits of Cadac’s Carri Chef 50 BBQ/Chef is the ability to swap various cooking surfaces to the top, to allow you to cater for whatever you’re planning to cook. We’ve been testing the Carri Chef 50 BBQ/Chef Pan Combo for the past month and have really enjoyed using it on various occasions. It’s easy to set up and clean,…
