Tigermoth Records was founded around 10 years ago as a release outlet for Rob Reed’s band Magenta, but has now expanded to include all of the musician’s related work, from the electronic-inspired Chimpan A and Cursus albums, to the rock band Kiama. Also included is the folk-inspired work of Les Penning and Tubular Bells producer Tom Newman, alongside solo releases from Magenta singer Christina Booth and the all-star prog/classical crossover project Kompendium, featuring Steve Hackett and Francis Dunnery among many others. “I get bored easily only doing single musical style projects,” says label founder Reed. “Tigermoth has allowed me to successfully explore all the different styles of music and work with amazing musicians.
