Some of my favourite memories as a child didn’t even involve leaving London – donkey rides around Hampstead Heath with my grandad, then off to the ice cream van for a 99 and over to Golder’s Green park to listen to a brass band playing. These days, it’s a bottle of rosé in the park (see page 44 for our favourite ones), but London still has my heart as the best city in the world.  Kaye Adams has always been a good friend to best, so we were heartbroken for her last week when her mum, Cathie, passed away. The heartsore star told us her mother was simply ‘the best’.
