READ ABOUT VR GAMING ON P84 NOKIA OZO An explosion of virtual reality will hit the streets in 2016, with the Oculus Rift, Sony’s Project Morpheus and Microsoft’s HoloLens VR headsets all available to buy. They’ll be joining the likes of the Gear VR, as well as a raft of shonky-looking but inexpensive Google Cardboard variants. Nokia has, unsurprisingly, not jumped on the headset bandwagon. Instead, it’s announced the OZO: a ball-shaped, 360-degree camera that captures fully immersive 3D video through its eight shutter sensors, while spatially accurate audio is taken care of with eight built-in mics.
