You, like me, probably dread it when the annual insurance renewal for your ’van drops through the letterbox. It always seems to go up and, this year, I was particularly incensed when the premium was increased further when I declared a non-fault accident – a motorcyclist rode into the back of my hire car because his brakes failed, but at least his insurer picked up the cost. So, when it’s renewal time again, I shall be shopping around using Richard Dredge’s fantastically comprehensive survey, which we publish in this issue. Incredibly, Richard makes the whole topic of insurance really rather interesting, for which he probably deserves a medal… More exciting still, though, is the variety of ’vans we’ve got in this magazine, including campervans from converters that have never appeared…
