Best known for… Judy played Nurse Able in the 1970s and 1980s comedy drama M*A*S*H, set during the Korean War. In the series, she shared the screen with her then-husband Mike Farrell, who starred as Captain B.J. Hunnicutt, as well as Alan Alda, Loretta Swit and Gary Burghoff. Other achievements… In the 1980s, she played Mrs Miller in the US musical series Fame. Other TV appearances include Get Smart and The Partridge Family. Family life… Judy died on 2 April from complications following a stroke. She was 84 and is survived by her two children, Michael and Erin, and her second husband Joe Bratcher.…

GREAT EXPECTATIONS Sunday, 9pm, BBC1 Drama There’s a dangerous situation for Pip as ex-con Compeyson is on his tail in the penultimate episode of Great Expectations. Scheming Compeyson threatens Pip (Fionn Whitehead) with a knife before demanding that the scared orphan hand back something he was given, which belongs to Compeyson. Pip manages to escape but is stumped as to what Compeyson means.
