What can you tell us about it? A I met several choirs on my journey around the country. From firefighters of south London to the South Asian choir in Yorkshire, they all bring unique qualities. The Just Sing ladies in Portadown have an energy and resilience born out of the struggles of their community. The farmers’ choir from Northern Ireland represents rural communities. Best known for… From 1998, Paul was a member of the pop band S Club 7 who appeared regularly on Top of the Pops. The band had their own TV shows too, including CBBC/BBC1 series Miami 7, L.A. 7, Hollywood 7 and Viva S Club. A reunion tour had been set for later in 2023. Other achievements… Paul had been a teenage stage performer, making his debut in West Side Story aged 16 and in 2015 he played Eddie in The Rocky Horror Show. Sad passing… Paul died suddenly at his home in Swanage, Dorset, on 6 April, with police saying his death wasn’t suspicious. Paul had previously dated Hannah Spearritt from the band.…
