Better is best! New BBC1 drama Better, starring Leila Farzad and Andrew Buchan as a corrupt cop and a crime boss, won the ratings battle on Mon 13 Feb, drawing 2.8m viewers. It beat the penultimate episode of ITV1’s Maternal (1.3m) and Love Island on ITV2 (1.2m). BAFTA beaten! The BAFTA Film Awards on BBC1 on Sun 19 Feb struggled to pull in viewers, with 2.5m tuning in to watch the show, presented by This Morning’s Alison Hammond and Richard E Grant. Best known for… The American actor shot to stardom playing a bikiniclad cavewoman in the 1966 film One Million Years B.C. (right). She also won critical acclaim for her performance in the 1987 TV drama Right to Die. Other achievements… Raquel won a Golden Globe for her role in 1974 swashbuckler film The Three Musketeers. She guest-starred in the TV shows Spin City, Seinfeld and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and later appeared on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories in 2015. Family life… Raquel died, aged 82, on 15 February at her home in LA following a brief illness. She’s survived by her two grown-up children, Damon and Tahnee.…
