Best known for… Trevor played bumbling parishioner Jim Trott in the BBC1 comedy The Vicar of Dibley between 1994 and 2015 and became a hit with fans for his risqué innuendoes and his tongue-tied ‘no, no, no, no… yes’ catchphrase. Other achievements… He starred in BBC1 series Family Business in 2004 and in EastEnders (as Sid, a war veteran Alfie Moon met in France), as well as the movies Fred Claus in 2007 and Quartet in 2013. Family life… Trevor died from a dementia-related illness on 8 March. He was 89 and is survived by his wife, the actor Tilly Tremayne, and his four children.…
