Best known for… Billie starred as the comically wicked Witchiepoo in the popular 1969 kids TV show H.R. Pufnstuf, with British child star Jack Wild. The show ran for 17 episodes and a movie. Other achievements… She also appeared as a gingerbread-house witch in Bewitched (1971) and appeared in Murder, She Wrote, General Hospital and The Monkees. She also worked as a voice actor for Rugrats, Shrek Forever After, The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries and, most recently, Transformers: Rescue Bots (2012-2016). Family life… Billie died on 29 April in Los Angeles. She was 96 and is survived by her niece and three nephews.…

HOLBY CITY Tuesday, 7.50pm BBC1 Drama Holby medic Kian is trying to focus on work while worrying about Andrei, who’s still missing. So he’s shocked when a panicked Evie alerts him that Andrei’s turned up at the hospital, badly beaten, seemingly by the drug dealers he works for. Kian rushes to Andrei’s aid and re-admits him to the hospital, where he can finally perform the heart surgery Andrei desperately needs. He’s also grateful to colleague Lucky for not reporting Andrei to social services. Fletch, however, isn’t nearly as understanding, after his daughter Evie got involved with Andrei.
