Killer thriller The first episode of season two of ITV’s Innocent, starring Katherine Kelly as a teacher wrongly jailed for murder, beat the opener of BBC1’s The Pact on 17 May. Innocent attracted 3.8m viewers, while The Pact drew 3.2m. Lost its shine The finale of BBC2’s All That Glitters, which saw jeweller Hugo Johnson crowned winner after a tough six-week competition, pulled in 1.9m viewers on 18 May, a drop from the launch episode, which attracted an audience of 2.2m back in April.…

Best known for… Between 1982 and 1988, Norman starred as Dr Daniel Auschlander in the US medical drama St. Elsewhere, which was shown on C4. Other famous achievements… His career started on stage in 1923, while his last film, the Amy Schumer movie Trainwreck, was released in 2015 just after Norman’s 100th birthday. Other credits include Alfred Hitchcock’s 1942 film Saboteur, Dead Poets Society (1989) and The Age of Innocence (1994), while on TV he was also in Murder, She Wrote, Kojak and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Family life… Norman died on 11 May, aged 106, at his home in Los Angeles. His wife, Peggy Craven, passed away in 2011.…
