The Euro 2020 final between England and Italy on 11 July drew in 30.8m viewers at its peak across BBC1 and ITV, up on 25.8m for the semi-final between England and Denmark on ITV on 7 July. Royal doc drops off Part one of ITV’s three-part series Diana’s Decades struggled on 8 July, with just 1.4m tuning in to the documentary about the princess’ life. Best known for… Born in London, radio presenter Jono’s career began in Australia. He returned to England, where his UK career took off on BBC’s GLR radio station in 1990. Jono presented breakfast shows on Virgin Radio (1993-97) and Heart 106.2 (1998-2005) before going back to Australia in 2007. Other achievements… Jono appeared on a number of UK TV shows including Noel’s House Party, Celebrity Fit Club, Celebrities Under Pressure and I’m Famous and Frightened. Family life… Jono died of prostate cancer in Sydney, Australia, on 9 July, aged 65. He’s survived by his wife Margot and their two children, Emily and Oscar.…
