When I was a teenager, I found a dusty old Victorian wall clock in our loft, which turned out to have been rescued by my father from an office. Pot the bulbs so that they have at least 7cm of compost beneath them and 10-15cm above. PLANT THESE ✿ GROW BORAGE on light, well-draining soil in a sunny spot. Sprout the seed on a windowsill indoors and as soon as the seedlings are large enough to handle, plant them outside. Use the flowers to garnish summer drinks and salads. SOW THESE ✿ TO MAKE LAWNS MORE DURABLE for heavy foot traffic or extra parking in the front garden, lay ribbons of grass in-between paving slabs.
