want to carve pumpkins?

It’s OK if you don’t. Jack-o’-lanterns are hard! I can never get the eyes to line up, even when I draw them on first. My go-to pumpkin display is a big gorgeous wooden bowl filled with mini pumpkins on my dining room table. This year I’m switching things up by using a copper bowl. Done! wow! what color is that?

emerald pool BY DUNN-EDWARDS “The built-ins in this basement hangout were original to the townhome, but the dark wood made the whole space feel drab and dated. High-gloss emerald green paint instantly gave them life! The color is youthful, yet sophisticated enough to keep parents happy, too.” —Lauren Svenstrup, Studio Sven, Chicago, IL stepping stone BY PPG PAINTS “Getting creative with molding in this master bedroom turned the wall behind the bed into a standout feature. Medium gray makes it seem even more luxe.” —Leslie Cotter Dorazil, Leslie Cotter Interiors, Louisville, KY construction zone BY BEHR “The house needed a front door that looked good with both the new blue-gray siding and the existing cream brick. A bold, citrusy orange works well—and gives the simple flat-front door lots of personality.” —Mark Larson, Rehkamp Larson Architects, Minneapolis, MN angelic BY SHERWIN-WILLIAMS “This baby pink reminds…
