This twice-a-year event is the largest secondhand and vintage audio gathering in the UK. There’s something rather exciting about attending a vintage sale, with rows and rows of stalls stacked high with hi-fi goodies to tempt every kind of visitor of all ages keen to get their hands on a renovation project or simply to browse and wander down memory lane. Stepping through the doors of the Angel Leisure Centre, Tonbridge on Sunday 6 October, the main sports hall bustles with activity as enthusiasts haggle over used vinyl and previously loved hi-fi.
