Summer is coming. The roadmap to unlock the UK from the seemingly endless state of lockdown appears to be working. And, with any luck, we’re about enjoy a decent show season where we can get back to doing what we love most – messing about in fast Fords. Our events calendar is filling up nicely (see page 22 for upcoming events), and the motorsport season is starting to kick-off – which is always a sign of the start of summer. “I’ve got so many, and they’re always changing! I do like oddball stuff though, and have always fancied building a Mk3 Mondeo ST220 track car with full 4x4, DTM-style arches and a modern engine like an EcoBoost V6.
