As a culture, we can communally agree that Oprah Winfrey has affected us for the better—and that was before she roused the world with her incredible speech at January’s Golden Globe Awards ceremony. RUNWAY INSPIRATION No one does a cover shoot like Oprah Winfrey does a cover shoot. Still recovering from a bout with the flu, she arrived at our West Hollywood set in high spirits, sporting her latest fashion obsession: a gray jumpsuit. But as the day got underway, her one-piece faced some tough competition. She said she was “feelin’ herself” in a pink velour Versace dress and raved about a shimmery Marc Jacobs gown (“Nothing feels like getting dressed up like [wearing] sequins”). Throughout the afternoon Winfrey snacked on popcorn, danced to Bruno Mars’s hits, and sang along to Beyoncé’s “Love on Top” and Angie Stone’s “Wish I Didn’t Miss You” on repeat.
