WHERE: Manila House, Bonifacio Global City In celebration of its 20th year, Abitare Internazionale, Philippine distributor of stellar lines of European home furniture and accessories, recently brought together two icons in the art and design industry, the National Artist Benedicto "BenCab" Cabrera and the Dutch design giant, Moooi Carpets, for one extraordinary project. The special collection of wall art carpets exhibits the artist's renowned masterpieces. The formidable project was Abitare's initiative to elevate and promote Philippine art in the global scene. WHERE: West Wing Lobby, Marriott Grand Ballroom A unique father-and-daughter exhibit, Splendour Beyond the River Danube and Reverie in New York, was jointly presented by Rupert Jacinto and Jacqueline Jacinto Zuratynsky. The photographs on show were collated from the artist-photographer Jacinto’s recent Danube river cruise and from his daughter Jacqueline’s private collection of photographs taken in New York where she resides. Each artist exhibited 50 photographic works digitally produced by Rey Ortiz Digital Printing and Photography.
