ALL EYES WERE ON KIM JONES AT Dior Men’s spring/summer 2019 show last June. What got everyone talking was the touch of delicate pink, a Dior signature, in his debut collection as artistic director, but what eventually stole the show was the monumental Kaws BFF statue, standing at 10m tall, that towered over the circular runway in the courtyard of the Republican Guard in Paris.
