11 years ago, I joined The Singapore Women’s Weekly as Features Editor and quickly discovered what author and motivational speaker, Simon Sinek, meant when he said: “Find your why”. For seven years, I drove The Weekly’s annual Great Women of Our Time Awards, an editorial initiative that honours the achievements of the nation’s most inspiring women. Interacting with these amazing women from all walks of life opened my mind up to a myriad of perspectives and gave me firsthand insight that taught me to connect with people on a deeper level.
