beyond meat partners with pepsico, signs contract with mcdonald’s

Beyond Meat announced two major long-term partnerships with international food behemoths PepsiCo and McDonald’s. The vegan meat innovator and manufacturer entered into a joint venture with PepsiCo—The Planet Partnership, LLC—to co-develop and market new snack and beverage products made with plant-based protein. Beyond Meat also revealed it is the developer of McDonald’s upcoming McPlant burger. nike launches sustainable basketball sneaker

As part of this athletic outfitter’s Move to Zero sustainability initiative, Nike released its first performance-based shoe made with 25% recycled and upcycled materials. Coined the Cosmic Unity sneakers, these ‘90s-inspired basketball shoes were first spotted on the feet of Anthony Davis—a forward for the Los Angeles Lakers.
