This issue features 33 teahouses from the classical era of Sen no Rikyu and Enshu Kobori to the modern period. The sukiya-style architecture and sencha spaces that were influenced by the tea ceremony are addressed by focusing on the relationship between nature and teahouses. With its selection of photographs and detail drawings, this issue is an easily understandable introduction to the culture and architecture of the tea ceremony.
