The Twenty Year Plan
As modellers, our aspirations are sometimes beyond our abilities or available time which leads to despair as we can’t achieve what we want. This is possibly, because we decided to replicate a big part of the prototype, and the complexity that goes with it. When I started modelling, most of my rolling stock needed to be scratch built. I had a Twenty Year plan, I just didn’t know it was a Twenty Year plan! Reality came when only one locomotive and a couple of wagons could be scratch built in a year.
