FOOD PRICES are expected to remain high on global woes with the recent excessive rains in South Africa adding uncertainty to the outlook, according to the National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC). South Africans are under severe financial strain amid rising food prices, compounded by hefty fuel prices, surging utility costs and rising inflation.
