Most hi-fi brands have their specialty, and a few even have specialties (plural). However, when an established marque tries to break with its own tradition and launch a product that’s, shall we say, out of its perceived ‘comfort zone’ then you can almost guarantee there’ll be a line of keyboard warriors predicting said device will likely crash and burn.
