For many of us, a new year inevitably brings up the topic of redecorating. But where do you get your inspiration? It’s a question that several people have asked me recently as we have been working through our own ongoing renovation project. I don’t know about you, but I’m always on the look-out for new ideas and tend to find them not just in the pages of magazines (though that is always my first port of call), but also on Pinterest and Instagram, as well as in less obvious places. I spent many an hour in lockdown checking out the best boutique hotels, everywhere from Scotland to Copenhagen.
