‘Not a year any of us will easily forget’ As I write this, it’s nearly half past three on a raw, misty afternoon and the last of the December daylight is about to take its leave. The sun is also about to set on a year that will linger long in the memory – for all the wrong reasons. While we, along with everyone else, feel humbled by the heroic achievements of all the essential workers who have done so much to keep the country functioning as normally as humanly possible in the midst of a pandemic, we’ve managed to keep working too.
