Two crowns and a royal orb belonging to the Swedish royal family were swiped from the 13th century Strangnas Cathedral in a robbery last week. The daring heist was carried out by thieves who then made a swift exit on a waiting speed boat. ‘One of my friends saw two people running,’ a witness told the Aftonbladet newspaper. ‘I saw the boat was there – a white little boat with a motor on the back. The two men hurriedly jumped on board. We contacted the police and told them. I knew immediately that they were burglars because of the way they were behaving,’ he added.
