It’s Halloween time again, and on pages 44 and 70, we have come up with some amazing – and super-easy – spooky cakes and crafts your little ones will love. Looking over the pages with the New Idea team we were having a giggle remembering some of our Halloween disasters over the years. One mum forgot to get a costume for her children one year, so at the last-minute she wrapped them in toilet paper and took them trick-ortreating as zombies. It was a bit of disaster when her son decided he needed to go to the toilet five minutes later! Another mum forgot to buy lollies to give to trickor- treaters – so handed out vegies such as brussels sprouts and carrots instead. I bet she wasn’t popular with the neighbourhood kids! Becca JUST…
