In this issue of Ocean Home, we celebrate the East Coast summer home. Our first stop is at a farmhouse designed by Ferguson & Shamamian Architects in East Hampton, New York. The saltbox design was informed by historical precedents; the house sits on the oceanfront landscape as through it has been there since the 1700s. The summer home was designed to accommodate several generations of extended family, take in the Atlantic Ocean views, and honor the agrarian past of the region.
