Saturday, February 26, 2022. It was 10 minutes before the grand opening of our bakery in DeSoto, Texas—Two Sisters Sweet Creations. The moment my sister, Yolanda, and I had worked toward for the past year was finally here. I looked at Yolanda in amazement. We’d left our careers to open a bakery! It was a risk worth taking, but I couldn’t help feeling nervous.
