Flip Flop Flakes This quilt is called Flip Flop Flakes from the January/ February ‘10 issue of Quiltmaker. The pattern called for 9 blocks but I made 72 blocks for a quilt measuring 80" x 90". My husband is a meteorologist and interested in all things weather. To make this quilt for him, I needed 36 different fabrics with a snowflake design plus a white on white with a snowflake design.
