By the time you read this, hopefully the buds will have begun to break through and the worst of winter will be over. It’s been a long one. We withstood wicked storms and cancelled photo shoots, dug out our cars and braved bad roads. We said goodbye to our former editor-in-chief, Beth Hitchcock, with heartfelt thanks and best wishes as she welcomes exciting new challenges.Lucky for us, our amazing editorial team carried on to produce this beautiful issue. remembering eleanor

Eleanor Codner, our former controller at H&H Media, succumbed to cancer last December. The best loved of any H&H alumni, Eleanor was a truly selfless, generous person who helped me through those daunting early years, teaching me how to read a balance sheet and manage our costs, until together we saw the business grow and flourish. Eleanor’s husband, Doug, was kind enough to tell me that even on her worst day here, she still enjoyed H&H more than her best day working anywhere else. Our hearts are with Doug and their children, Michael and Kristin. A woman of great faith, I have no doubt that Eleanor is resting in peace.…
