Lisa Lillien here, also known as Hungry Girl. And since this is the first-ever issue of the Hungry Girl magazine, here’s a little about me! In 2004, I decided to create a brand about better-foryou eating. I’m not a nutrition professional, and I don’t have a medical background. I’m not even a chef. I’m just a regular person who’s hungry, and I had a feeling I wasn’t the only one. I knew my brand wouldn’t be about deprivation or stuffy advice——it would be about smart swaps, big portions, and creative ways to eat the foods you love and still fit into your pants!
