making headway in halong

This year, a series of much-needed infrastructure upgrades are making the natural wonders in and around Vietnam’s Halong Bay easier to access than ever before. The 25-kilometer highway between Haiphong and Halong has finally opened after a three-year delay, halving the travel time from Hanoi to a manageable two hours. Meanwhile, Hai Au Aviation will be rolling out 15-minute seaplane flights this summer from Halong to Co To Island, an up-and-coming destination roughly 60 kilometers to the east.
